What should you do if you think some one's been poisoned?

  • Follow the first aid instructions if you can.  Then call your poison center right away!
  • The poison center experts will tell you exactly what to do.  They may follow-up by phone to be sure everything is o.k.
  • DO NOT wait to call!  Don't wait for symptoms! Call right away! The problem can often be taken care of over the phone.  

Poison Control Hotline run by the American Association of Poison Control Centers.  This hotline is 24 hour/7days a week/ 365 days a year.
